Very sturdy piece of equipment

I like the fact that you can raise the arms out of the way. Those arms can be very annoying at the gym when doing pull-ups. Shipping took a little while and was a little “bruised” when it got here is only reason for 4 stars. Worth the money however.

My purpose for purchasing the 390 was for the pull-ups. My doors can’t handle the weight of those pull-up bars which are sold everywhere, so the 390 seemed like a good substitute. A secondary reason was the dips.

Considering that there are no weights on this machine, the whole thing is surprisingly heavy. Nothing that a grown person or two can’t re-position occasionally, mind you; just heavier than expected, for a non-weight exercise unit. (amazon.com)

I looked at the “Total Gym” machine (the one pushed by Christie Brinkley and Chuck Norris). I went to their website and requested their free video; a few days later, I got a phone call from them, telling me that if I bought it that very day, I could save $100. “I want the video”, I said. I never got the video. That sent up “red flags” in my head for the Total Gym people. I resent being hustled. (amazon.com)

Tough workout

This thing give a tough workout. at the low settings I get a killer cardio workout and at the highest pitch I can burn out fast. It says you can do like 100 exercises but so far I’ve just focused on 10 or 15 of them. (weiderfitness.com)

Got these hand wts. about 2 months ago and have been using on a regular basis. Strong point is being able to easily adjust the wts. for a varity of exercises. Good product would recommend strongly.

When ordering this item, I thought I was going to recieve two 25lbs dumbells. What I recieved was two 12.5LB dumbells – so this was a disappointment.

However, I do really like them, and they are very easy to use.

I am very pleased with the Weider PowerSwitch 25 lb.pair. It is very easy to switch from one weight to another and is done in a couple of seconds. I use them every day to help strengthen my Trapezius and Deltoid muscles. I find Weider products to be of good quality at an affordable price.
